Dr. Susie Quast is a Houston native where she graduated from Milby High School in 1975. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Texas State University in 1980. She worked in research for Shell Oil Company for 4 years in the environmental toxicology division.

In 1984, Dr. Quast entered Texas A & M University's veterinary school, and she graduated in 1988. She practiced in Katy, TX for 13 years before moving to Pearland.

Dr. Quast is especially interested in internal medicine and the diagnostic aspects of companion animal medicine.

She is married and has one daughter, Mariel.
