Growing up in Southeast Houston, Dr. Gregory graduated from Milby High School in 1977. In 1983, he graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Accounting. Dr. Gregory entered the Texas A. & M. College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989, graduating in 1993.

After graduation, he practiced veterinary medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah, until moving back to Houston to continue in private practice at the Pearland Animal Hospital in 1996. He has been apart of the Siverlake Animal Hospital Family since 2001.

Dr. Gregory and his wife Ginger have three children; John, Johanna, and Brian.
